Common questions

Do I need paid Claude and Gemini plans to run this?

Yes. The skill assumes Claude.ai with skills enabled (or Claude Code) and Gemini 3.1 Pro access via the bundled gemini-cli scripts. The skill itself is free.

Can I use this on an existing Astro site, or only new builds?

Both. The skill detects existing artifacts (discovery.md, architecture.md, src/data/pages/) and resumes from the right phase instead of overwriting work in progress.

What if I don't want to use EmDash CMS?

Skip the CMS phase. Content stays in MDX content collections — the same pattern this site uses. The pipeline runs end-to-end without EmDash.

Is the design enhancement just CSS, or does it touch component logic?

Gemini generates production CSS, animations, and responsive polish per component. Component logic and Astro structure stay under Opus's control — clean separation between design and engineering.
