If this sounds familiar, the claude skill is for you.
Report day eats a full day: exporting CSVs, pasting screenshots into a deck, rebuilding the same tables by hand.
Reporting SaaS bills per client per month and still outputs the same template every other agency sends.
Last month's optimized pages never get checked, so the client never sees proof the work moved anything.
One delta pointing the wrong way — a position drop rendered green — and the client doubts every other number.
A working system, not a prompt.
Each piece extracted from a live engine — same prompts, same scaffolding, same rules.
- 01SKILL.md — the 4-phase operating system: client intake, automated data collection, report generation, and a close-the-loop insights ledger that records what worked
- 02references/ (7 docs) — the full report template with markup, CSS and chart configs, verified data-collection call patterns with per-source fallbacks, per-client config, brand tokens, a pre-send QA checklist, and deployment
- 03A complete seed report with synthetic data (examples/example-client) — clone it for your first client, then clone each month's file for the next
- 0413 report sections: executive snapshot, top pages, top queries, geo, traffic sources, backlinks, social, newsletter, content published, work delivered, next steps
- 05Live pulls from Search Console, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools and Ahrefs when those MCP servers are connected — each section degrades to manual CSVs or an honest empty state when they're not
- 06One-block theming: swap seven CSS tokens and the whole report re-skins to your brand, charts included — plus scripts/report_helpers.py for deltas and formatting
Last month's report is this month's template — clone the file, swap the data, and every fix you've ever made carries forward. An insights ledger turns the stack of monthly snapshots into a record of which tactics are worth scaling.
Built for a specific operator. Not for everyone.
- Solo consultants and small agencies sending monthly organic reports who want the deliverable built in a session, not a lost day
- SEO and content operators with Search Console or GA4 already connected to Claude, who want the numbers turned into a client-ready file
- Anyone paying a reporting SaaS per client per month for a deliverable one skill and a static host can produce
- Anyone who needs a live, always-on dashboard — this builds monthly snapshot files with permanent URLs, not a real-time analytics tool
- Teams that need multi-seat SaaS with client logins and white-label admin — the deliverable is a single HTML file
- Paid-media reporting — the sections cover organic search, content, backlinks, social and email, not ad accounts
How it works
Can Claude build client SEO reports?
Yes. With this skill, Claude pulls both periods of data from Search Console, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools and Ahrefs, presents the numbers for your confirmation, then generates a branded, interactive HTML report — KPI cards with deltas, Chart.js charts, top pages and queries, backlinks, geo and traffic sources. Where no integration exists, it works from the CSV exports you already download, so the answer doesn't depend on your stack.
An SEO report generator that compares periods honestly
Every metric in the report is compared against the previous period, and the delta logic separates the direction a number moved from whether that move is good — so a drop in average position renders as the improvement it is. The skill refuses to state anything it can't trace to a pulled metric or an operator-supplied input, and it flags declines instead of burying them. A report a client can interrogate is a report they keep paying for.
Monthly client reporting, standardized
The generation model is clone-don't-rebuild: each month starts as a copy of the last, so structure, fixes and per-client customizations persist while only the data changes. A proof-of-work check looks up last month's optimized pages and new content in this month's search data, and an internal insights ledger records what was shipped and what moved — turning monthly reporting from a chore into a compounding record of which tactics work.

Common questions
Which tools does it need?
None are required. Each section degrades gracefully: live pull when Search Console, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools or Ahrefs are connected via MCP, manual CSV export when they're not, and an honest empty state when a source doesn't exist for that client. Connect what you have; the report adapts.
Is it branded to your agency?
No — it's brand-neutral by design. You do a one-time swap: a handful of text placeholders, your logo, and seven CSS custom properties in a single :root block. That one block re-themes everything, including the chart colors, and every report after that inherits it.
What does the client actually receive?
One self-contained HTML file per month with a permanent URL — interactive charts, KPI cards with deltas, and a next-steps section. It opens in any browser, prints cleanly to PDF, and ships with a noindex meta tag and a confidentiality notice by default.
How is month two faster than month one?
The skill never rebuilds a report from scratch. It clones last month's file and data JSON, changes only the dynamic content, and re-checks how last month's optimized pages performed — so accumulated fixes, per-client customizations and follow-ups all carry forward automatically.
Want the growth, not just the report?
The Managed engine is the system this report was built to measure — website, SEO, and content across every channel, run on your behalf, with a monthly report tied to enquiries and bookings. You approve direction and read the numbers; we do the rest.
